Martin, Fulk Speak on Impact of Federal Discovery Rule Changes

2016-05-24 IBA PresentationHoover Hull Turner Partners Jason Fulk and Laurie Martin teamed with the Indianapolis Bar Association Labor and Employment section to participate in a panel discussion on May 24, 2016 regarding the recent amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure made effective December 1, 2015. The seminar focused on the amendments to Rules 26 and Rule 34, and in particular how those amendments impact discovery in employment-related matters.

Martin moderated the discussion, while Fulk and fellow panelist Ryan Fox of Fox Williams & Sink LLC respectively provided the defense and plaintiff’s perspectives regarding the amendments. Anchoring the panel was U.S. Magistrate Judge Debra McVicker Lynch, who provided perspective from the federal bench regarding the goals and anticipated effect of the amendments.
