Hoover Hull Turner Welcomes Three New Attorneys

Hoover Hull Turner has added three new attorneys to deepen its bench in the areas of business and professional liability disputes and employment litigation.

Katherine English joins Hoover Hull Turner as an associate attorney following a clerkship for The Honorable James P. Hanlon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. In her employment and commercial litigation practice, Katie also draws on her experience counseling business clients in personal injury defense. Katie earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as a Notes & Comments Editor of the Indiana Law Journal. She volunteers as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for Child Advocates.

Che’lee John’s practice focuses on business litigation and professional liability disputes. Before joining the firm as an associate attorney, Che’lee clerked for the Honorable Nancy H. Vaidik of the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Native American Rights Fund and interned with the Office of the Solicitor in the Department of Interior. She graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where she was active in student government and moot court.

An experienced litigator in trial and appellate courts, Jan Mensz joins the firm of counsel. Jan practices in the areas of commercial litigation, white-collar investigations, antitrust and arbitration for business disputes. In addition to his years in private practice, Jan has worked for the ACLU of Indiana and the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and in Iraq, assisting the Iraqi High Tribunal in its prosecution of Saddam Hussein and members of his regime for war crimes. Jan graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
