Domestic Violence Network Pays Tribute at Annual Night with the Network Event

On October 14, 2016, the Domestic Violence Network of Greater Indianapolis celebrated the contributions of community members who excel in domestic violence intervention and prevention at its third annual Night with the Network fundraiser. The event was held at Crane Bay Event Center and featured a silent auction and contributions from local restaurants, craft breweries and boutique distilleries.

The individuals and organizations honored for their contributions included: Jami Schnurpel, The Julian Center; Indy Pride Inc.; Open for Service; IMPD Chief Troy Riggs; and Pamela Jahnke, Community Health Network.

Special guests included Ed Carpenter and Candace Aviles. Carpenter is the owner of Ed Carpenter Racing, a Chevrolet-powered team competing in the Verizon IndyCar Series. Carpenter also drives one of ECR’s entries as an oval course specialist. Aviles currently co-hosts The NOW Indy program on The Indy Channel rtv6.

Hoover Hull Turner LLP is proud to have contributed as a Supporting Sponsor of the Night with the Network event.

The mission of the Domestic Violence Network is to engage the community to end domestic violence through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Since 2000, the Domestic Violence Network has served as a connector, educator, and advocate to accelerate Central Indiana’s response to domestic violence by organizing the Community Wide Plan to End Domestic Violence.
